well, seeing as though it’s mother’s day and castle and beckett are recently an official couple, just imagine him taking care of her on mother’s day considering the general fact that her mom was murdered and the more recent fact that she once again almost lost her life trying to find justice for her mom…i wish we could see it. their official relationship is so fresh and new that i just wanna see how they’d interact given recent developments… castle would be so sweet and comforting and i just wanna see how much beckett would let him care for her

When Kate was sitting on the swings, she was being cleansed of her old self. Before she went out in the rain, she was focused on the consequences of losing herself in her mom’s case yet again, her recent resignation, and the fact that she may have permanently severed ties with the truly most important person in her life. But after sitting on the swings for God knows how long, she grew and was cleansed from her old self, thus coming to a revelation. She wanted to live. She wanted to be happy. She no longer wanted to be defined by her mom’s case. She wanted to be Kate. Not Detective Beckett, just Kate. She wanted to learn to live again like she used to 13 years ago, but this time she wanted to do it with Castle. So when she got up from the swings, she went to the one person that could help her live happily again.
